Come hear Voices in Harmony, one of McHenry County’s premier adult community choirs, conducted by Steven Szalaj with accompanist Randy Casey.
Guest Artists on this concert will be The Winds Off The Lake Woodwind Quintet. This fine ensemble, comprised of local professional musicians, will add lively instrumental colors to the performance. They will accompany VIH in several works, particularly A Cycle Round Britain – arrangements of five beloved folksongs from the British Isles. They will be featured in several selections by themselves.

Voices In Harmony presents SOAR Into SONG! – a choral concert that will make your spirit sing! On this richly varied program, you will hear music by contemporary choral composers such as Stacy Garrop, Craig Hella Johnson, Paul Rardin, Kim André Arnesen. Two works will feature french horn player Russ Henning. A highlight will be a collection of simple, beautiful a cappella settings of songs from the Shaker tradition.
